TechSheet Terms of Service

By using TechSheet ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TechSheet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

TechSheet is a vehicle maintenance tracking application. The app provides tools for:

• Tracking vehicle maintenance history and costs
• Setting up maintenance schedules and reminders
• Storing vehicle documents (insurance, registration, warranties)
• Reading OBD-II diagnostic data via Bluetooth adapters
• Generating vehicle history reports
• Browsing recommended parts from affiliate retailers

3. Account Requirements

• You must have an Apple ID to use TechSheet
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Subscriptions

• Some features require an active TechSheet Pro subscription
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. OBD-II Diagnostics

When using OBD-II features:

• TechSheet reads data from your vehicle's OBD-II port via a third-party Bluetooth adapter
• You are responsible for ensuring the adapter is compatible with your vehicle
• Diagnostic data is provided for informational purposes only
• TechSheet is not a substitute for professional vehicle diagnosis or repair
• We are not responsible for any actions taken based on OBD-II readings

6. Affiliate Links

TechSheet may recommend parts and link to third-party retailers:

• We may earn a commission from purchases made through affiliate links
• Prices, availability, and product information are provided by the retailers
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of pricing or product compatibility
• Purchases are subject to the retailer's own terms and return policies

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your vehicles
• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Not rely solely on TechSheet for vehicle safety decisions
• Maintain your own backups of important vehicle documents

8. Intellectual Property

TechSheet and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Robert Torres and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TechSheet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Maintenance recommendations will be accurate for your specific vehicle
• OBD-II readings will be accurate or complete
• Parts recommendations will be compatible with your vehicle
• Your data will never be lost (always maintain your own backups)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechSheet and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, vehicle damage, or missed maintenance.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to TechSheet at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
