TechSheet is free to use with one vehicle, including full maintenance tracking, schedules, reminders, and document storage. TechSheet Pro unlocks unlimited vehicles, OBD-II live diagnostics, vehicle history reports, parts recommendations, and vehicle transfer.
Yes! All your data is stored securely in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. Your data is encrypted, synced across your devices, and we never have access to it. You can also export a full backup at any time from Settings.
Absolutely! Your vehicles, maintenance records, documents, and schedules automatically sync across all your Apple devices using iCloud.
TechSheet works with ELM327-compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) adapters. Most inexpensive BLE OBD-II adapters available online are compatible. Note: Wi-Fi adapters and older Bluetooth Classic adapters are not supported.
Plug the adapter into your vehicle's OBD-II port (usually under the dashboard), turn on your vehicle's ignition, then open TechSheet and go to the OBD-II section. The app will scan for nearby adapters and guide you through the connection process.
TechSheet sends local notifications when maintenance is due based on your schedules. Reminders are triggered by mileage intervals, time intervals, or both. You can customize which reminders you receive in Settings.
Free users can track one vehicle. TechSheet Pro subscribers can track unlimited vehicles, making it perfect for multi-car households or car enthusiasts.
With TechSheet Pro, go to your vehicle's detail page and tap "Transfer Vehicle." This generates a transfer file containing the vehicle's complete maintenance history, which the new owner can import into their TechSheet app.
A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique 17-character code for your vehicle. Adding your VIN lets TechSheet automatically fill in your vehicle's make, model, and year. You can find it on your registration, insurance card, or on a plate visible through the driver's side windshield.
You can delete all data from Settings > Delete All Data. To remove data from iCloud, you can manage your iCloud storage in your device settings or contact us for assistance. Deleting the app removes local data but iCloud data persists until manually removed.
